Terms of Service

The agreement that governs your use of Ionize.

Last updated: August 13, 2026. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Ionize ("we," "us," or "our") and govern your use of our software and services (the "Services"). Please read them carefully before using the Services.

1. Acceptance

By accessing, installing, or otherwise using the Services in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Services.

2. Licenses

A valid license is required to use the Services. Each license is granted to a single user for that user's own use only.

Your license is personal and non transferable. You may not share, sell, lend, sublicense, or transfer it to anyone else, and each person using the Services must hold their own valid license. We may verify your license at any time and may suspend access where a license is invalid, expired, or misused.

3. Accounts and Credentials

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that takes place under your account. Sharing your credentials with any other person is a breach of these Terms. You must notify us promptly if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Restrictions

You agree that you will not, and will not allow anyone else to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or decrypt the software, or otherwise attempt to access its source code by any means;
  • Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the software;
  • Distribute, resell, or sublicense the software or your license; or
  • Bypass, disable, or interfere with any license check or security measure.

You also agree not to use the Services for any unlawful purpose.

5. Closed Beta Testing

Closed beta access is free. Accounts that complete enrollment and are approved receive lifetime access to Ionize, subject to these Terms and the account restrictions above. Lifetime access means access for the lifetime of the Ionize program and does not guarantee that every beta build, feature, or supporting service will remain available indefinitely.

By joining the closed beta, you acknowledge and accept that:

  • Your Roblox account may be banned while you test, and you test at your own risk;
  • Beta software is unfinished, may fail without warning, and may contain incomplete or broken features;
  • Testing may cause system instability, application or system crashes, BSODs, or data loss;
  • Testing may require a Windows repair or reset; and
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ionize is not responsible for those beta testing outcomes.

Back up important data before testing. Beta builds may be updated, replaced, suspended, or withdrawn at any time, and testers may be asked to reproduce issues or provide diagnostic information.

6. Payments and Refunds

We do not sell licenses directly. Licenses are sold by third party vendors, and any purchase is a transaction between you and the vendor you buy from.

Refunds are not guaranteed. Any refund request must be directed to the vendor you purchased from, as only that vendor can process it. We do not handle refunds and are not responsible for the payment or billing practices of any vendor.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, license, or access to the Services at any time, including where we reasonably suspect a breach of these Terms. On termination, your right to use the Services ends immediately, and no refund is owed. Any terms that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

8. Intellectual Property

The Services and software, and all related intellectual property rights, remain the property of Ionize. These Terms grant you only a limited, revocable, non transferable right to use the Services under your license. No other rights are granted.

9. Disclaimer and Liability

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ionize will not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages, or any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the Services.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Any changes take effect once the updated Terms are posted, and your continued use of the Services after that constitutes acceptance. Please review these Terms periodically.
