How Ionize collects, uses, and protects your information.

Last updated: August 13, 2026. This Privacy Policy explains how Ionize ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information in connection with our software and services (the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

When you register for the Services, we collect:

  • Discord ID: the unique identifier of your Discord account;
  • Username: the username you register with; and
  • Password: stored only in hashed form. We do not store or have access to your password in plaintext.
  • Agreement records: the date and versions of the Terms and Privacy Policy accepted during closed beta enrollment.

2. Telemetry

We may collect telemetry and usage data from the Services. We use this data to operate the Services and to detect and prevent breaches of our Terms of Service, such as license sharing or attempts to bypass our protections.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create, manage, and authenticate your account;
  • Provide and maintain the Services;
  • Enforce our Terms and prevent misuse; and
  • Comply with our legal obligations.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the Services, or where required by law.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as long as needed to provide the Services and meet our legal obligations. When it is no longer needed, we delete it.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including storing passwords in hashed form. No system is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. For minor changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. For material changes to what we collect, how we use it, or who we share it with, we will notify you in app before those changes take effect. Your continued use of the Services after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
